'Nurses Make the Difference' Photo Contest!  

Nurses Week is Coming in May! 

We are inviting you to participate in a photo contest!

1. Objectives:

This photo contest showcases the critical role nurses play in healthcare and their profound impact on patient care, community health, and the overall healthcare system in North Dakota.

We are looking for quality submissions/stories demonstrating significant impact and increased visibility for nursing contributions in North Dakota.

2. Rules and Guidelines:

This contest is open to all nursing professionals working in North Dakota, including students in nursing programs! We encourage submissions that depict how nurses make a difference in various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, community centers, schools, and beyond. Images could capture moments of care, innovation, leadership, teamwork, and community involvement.

The NDNA Executive Committee will judge the contest based on impactfulness, relevance to the theme, creativity, and the narrative accompanying the photo.

Participants should submit photos with captions that describe how the moment illustrates the theme "Nurses Make the Difference." Participants, please ensure compliance with patient consent/privacy and adhere to laws and regulations applicable in North Dakota.

Entry fee: $15 or $5 for student nurses 

3. Prizes:

All selected entries will be displayed in NDNA May Nurses Week communications - including the NDNA Monthly eNews, The North Dakota Nurse, social media, and a press release!

The top two selections will receive complimentary registrations ($135 value each) to the NDNA Annual Meeting and Fall Conference, which will be held in Bismarck on September 12-13, 2024.

Each of the top two selections will also receive an Amazon gift card!
