New NDNA VP of Government Relations!

Greetings!

NDNA would like to announce to our members a change in our Board.  Our current VP of Goverment Relations, Halley Maas, is focusing on advancing her education and a new nursing position so she is stepping down from this role.  NDNA wishes her nothing by the best and we look forward to a possible return to NDNA leadership at some point! 

We are very pleased that Evelyn (Lyn) Telford, MSN, RN, CEN of Fargo was appointed by the NDNA Board of Directors to fill the role.

"I have worked in healthcare since 1999 and have been a nurse since 2008.  The majority of my career was spent in the emergency department setting.  I was an ED supervisor from 2012 to 2016.  I am currently a Quality Partner for Essentia Health System Quality, focusing on quality improvment, patient safety and regulatory compliance.  I recently earned my Master's in Nursing Leadership.  I served as the Government Affairs Chair for the North Dakota Emergency Nurses Association from 2016-2018.  I thoroughly enjoyed my work in that role, but would like to broaden that experience beyond emergency nursing."

We are very excited to have Lyn join the board.  She has already written articles for our ENews and brings a great background, including advocacy.  Welcome Lyn!!
