B34 Employee Health and Injured Employees: Collaboration with Health Care Providers

During this session, Tessa will focus on the care of work-related and non-work-related injuries of employees and discuss the importance and benefits of having nursing on-site or utilizing contact nurses for on-site nursing services. She will also discuss the importance of a well-developed return to work programs.
Tessa Johnson, MSN, BSN, RN, CDP
Tessa is a native to ND and lives in Dickinson. Tessa is a Registered Nurse and graduated with her bachelor's degree from Dickinson State University and holds a Masters in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Tessa has worked as a nurse for 14 years and worked in several different settings in which have mostly been leadership roles. Tessa has worked in Long term care, Correctional Nursing, Occupational Medicine and is currently the Executive Director of CountryHouse in Dickinson. In addition, Tessa is here today on behalf of the North Dakota Nursing Association. Tessa is the Current President of both the North Dakota Nurses Association and the North Dakota Center for Nursing.
