Excellent Scholarship Opps for Nurses/Healthcare from BCBSND!

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of ND Caring Foundation has opportunities for Healthcare Profession Scholarships. Starting August 1 through October 1, they will be accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year funding.

*Healthcare Profession Scholarship

Twenty-six $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to offset tuition costs for those pursuing degrees in a nursing or healthcare-related field. Eligibility requirements:

Be a resident of North Dakota
Attending a North Dakota university, college, or technical college
Pursuing a degree in a nursing or healthcare-related field
Have completed at least their freshman year of undergraduate coursework
Be a full-time student
Be in good academic standing; maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
Demonstrate financial need

*Healthcare Leader Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to identify, cultivate and advance the next generation of healthcare leaders in North Dakota. Applicants will develop an innovative and impactful project in the area of healthcare that incorporates a leadership development plan designed to support a successful project outcome, as well as academic and personal growth.

One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to the winner to offset school tuition costs. Eligibility requirements:

Be a resident of North Dakota
Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a North Dakota university or college
Have completed at least their junior year of undergraduate course work or be enrolled in a graduate program
Pursuing a degree in healthcare or business administration and planning to work in a healthcare-related field with a leadership track
Preference will be given to individuals planning to live and work in North Dakota
Be in good academic standing, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
Demonstrate financial need
