The North Dakota State University Center for Immunization Research and Education is excited to announce that Dr. Paul Carson will be our fifth presenter in Bringing the Experts to You: A Webinar Series on Vaccines.
WHEN:
Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 pm CT
WHAT:
This webinar will provide an overview of the vaccine safety surveillance systems used in the United States and provide examples of how the systems work together to identify and assess potential safety signals. Dr. Carson will also discuss the strengths and limitations of each system. Finally, Dr. Carson will provide historical examples of how the systems have identified vaccine safety concerns. Attendees should leave the presentation with a greater understanding of the robust, multi-layered approach taken in the United States to assure vaccine safety and be more equipped to answer questions about vaccine safety.
